Our Mission

Our journey began 2018 with a heartfelt mission: to rescue two cockatiels from a pet shop where they were being kept in terrible conditions. Little did we know that this compassionate act would lead us to rescue many more cockatiels from dire situations. Today, we are proud to have provided a forever home for 18 rescued cockatiels, all of whom are thriving in a safe and nurturing environment.

When we first started, the bird's environment was far from ideal. Like many bird owners, we filled their space with colorful plastic and woolen items, thinking we were giving them the best. However, we soon learned that much of what is sold for birds is neither healthy nor safe and can even be toxic.

Determined to create a better habitat, we researched natural alternatives and discovered the benefits of natural cork. We source our cork from dedicated farmers in Portugal, ensuring it is of the highest quality and completely safe for our feathered friends. 

Since introducing natural cork into our aviary, we've seen a remarkable transformation. Our birds now enjoy a habitat that closely mimics their natural environment, keeping them busy and content. 

All of our cork oak products are carefully disinfected to ensure the highest level of safety for your birds.
